Claude “Doug” Rude and his family started a meat processing business named “Rude’s Custom Butchering.” The Rude Family provided custom processing for farmers and families in the surrounding communities. They processed beef, pork, and lamb. In 1994, the second generation transitioned to exclusively wholesaling pork products and in 1995 became a USDA federally inspected facility.
Over the years, Spectrum has expanded its facility and implemented automation in its production processes.
The third generation is eager to continue Spectrum’s growth while serving their customer’s needs.
